Solid skill instruction video. I have found that a SWAT-T tourniquet works well for situations like this.

A tip I got when I was trained as a veterinary assistant was to work a piece of the hair in the bandage every time on dogs with long hair. This can prevent the bandage from sagging. This can also ideally be done at the tail. Of course, that won’t work if the dog has little to no hair.
