Casualty care training for high-risk environments, grounded in science and operational reality.

A master class program, with courses for all experience levels

We teach not just what to do, but how to do it best, when to do it, and most importantly, why to do it.  Provide the right care at the right time.

TRAIN ONLINE, START IMMEDIATELY

An operator can teach you tactics, a physician can teach you the medicine, we will teach you both.

Meet Dr. Mike Shertz

I trained as an Army Special Forces Medic. Many of the concepts in my courses come directly from that experience.

I later attended medical school and became dual-boarded in Emergency Medicine and EMS. From there, I began working with tactical law enforcement, fire, and executive protection teams—synthesizing tactical experience with clinical medicine, and shaping it into continuing education I would actually want to watch.

Our courses show you actual wound profiles, case studies, medical literature, and step-by-step skills to engage you during training and lock the lessons in.

WHY ONLINE?

In-person training is expensive. It requires travel, time away from home, and days off the schedule. For many agencies, it’s simply not realistic – especially when the goal is to train entire teams to the same standard.

Over the years, I worked with fire, EMS, and law enforcement agencies that couldn’t afford to send people out of state or bring high-quality trainers to their location. I saw the same problem with military units and contractors while deployed. The demand for solid training was there; access wasn’t.

People told me I should put my in-person courses online. I resisted. Most online medical training is poorly produced, disengaging, and a poor substitute for a real class.

Eventually, I agreed. On the condition it be done correctly. I partnered with an independent Hollywood filmmaker to create our series of online classes filmed by professionals, on a soundstage, with an engaging, high quality format.

Train from the best seat in your house. No Travel. No time away from home. The material won't waste your time, and you might even find yourself binge watching classes.

Departments in remote areas now train to a higher standard. Communities benefit from better-prepared responders. Students report:
  • Lifesaving awards
  • Being asked to join training cadres
  • Signing up on Friday and finishing entire courses over the weekend
This isn’t background noise training. People binge it.

Today, these courses are used by military units, law enforcement and SWAT teams, fire and EMS agencies, and private citizens who want training that holds up when it actually matters.

We’re constantly updating the material based on both the TECC and TCCC guidelines as well as the latest scientific medical literature. We don’t just repeat what someone else said, we do the research from the ground up, and sometimes point out lessons that will surprise you.

  • What’s the actual evidence behind the use of chest seals?
  • What’s the most proven tourniquet, and what do a bunch of Navy Divers covered in blood stimulant and rolled in sand like sugar cookies have to do with it?
  •  TCCC guidelines are based on medical literature from Iraq and Afghanistan where the biggest wounding mechanism was IED blast. What’s different in Ukraine where it’s from indirect fire, or a city street where it’s gunshot wounds?

We’ll answer these questions and train you to be prepared.
