PLEASE CONTACT US IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN HOSTING A CLASS AT YOUR LOCATION OR WITH YOUR ORGANIZATION/AGENCY

Mike Shertz and his team teach several in-person classes each year. All primary instruction and lectures are designed and presented by Dr. Shertz. He has a few select associate instructors who assist in proctoring hands-on skills stations and scenarios.

Practice makes permanent. You’ll have multiple opportunities to practice your medical skills on different trainers and modalities.  Then practice your skills in a real-world scenario based on actual injuries.

Note: For in-person courses, refunds will not be issued if cancellation is made without two weeks notice ahead of the class start date.

I wanted to thank you for the TECC class, it was of superb educational value to me. The material was presented in a very palatable manner; every slide kept my utmost attention. The literature reviews added credibility to the practical material. At the same time, I appreciated the criticism of many studies. All of the real-life examples were spot on and helped highlight the theory. I liked that the material that is constantly updated.

The frequent shifts between lectures and practical exercises were very helpful in retaining the material. The scenario day was excellent. I liked how efficiently condensed the exercises were. Even though everything was on the clock, we had plenty of time to do after-action reports. The AIs were very experienced .

You definitely own every aspect of the material that you present. It absolutely looks like a constantly evolving product of your lifework. I left the course with a clear roadmap of how I should approach and work up a casualty. I have no doubt I will do other Crisis-Medicine classes that you offer online, as well as attend the in-person class again.

An outline of the state of Florida with MD listed, for Dr Andrew Dvoryansky
This was by far the most beneficial course I have taken and what PHTLS should strive to emulate. The amount of information that was based on case studies and cited was eye opening when it came to what works, what doesn't, and what is preached in the EMS world as gospel but is unfounded.

Relevant, in-depth, highly recommended

This is an outstanding opportunity for anyone who is looking for a higher level of education on casualty care/emergency medicine. Dr. Shertz provides substantive evidence for his curriculum. His material is relevant and more in-depth than I have been able to find elsewhere. After completing the course I know I am better educated on the philosophy and principles of wounds, ballistics, and evidence-based wound care. He dispels the hype around what is traditionally taught as "Emergencies" and brings front and center the true emergencies, so that precious triage and 'golden hour' time can be spent saving lives. He's serious but doesn't take himself too seriously. I highly recommend the course and appreciate what I have learned, thank you.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had the unique opportunity to both go to the in-person CTC2 class in Oregon, and finish a portion of the course online because I had to leave early. I have to say that nothing can replace the muscle memory gained and the ability to ask questions and get immediate feedback that the in-person class provides. The practical scenario day was very well done and put you into situations that provided real-world stress. You had to treat very realistic injuries from real situations that have happened around the country. That being said, the online course is very well done and kept my attention throughout. The scenario videos were not only entertaining, but they were also relevant to the information taught and Dr. Shertz narrates during portions to help reinforce the M.A.R.C.H. pneumonic and treatment priorities. Overall, this is one of the best courses I have ever taken. I feel that anyone in Law Enforcement or FIRE/EMS should definitely take one of these courses because of the environment we live in today.
